Pride of America docks in Kahului every Sunday at 8am and stays the night, sailing on Monday evening with all-aboard around 5:30pm. Find your Sunday below and tap to check it.
It is the only ship in Hawaiʻi that overnights on Maui, which gives you two days here instead of one. That is what makes an unhurried Road to Hana — or Hana and a Haleakalā sunset — possible from a cruise.
The ship stays overnight, so nothing has to end early. The only day a Haleakalā sunset fits.
A full second day. We time the route from all-aboard so the margin is built in, not hoped for.
Either day suits the Road to Hana. Tell us which you would rather keep free and we build the other one around it.
Tap Check this date and a text opens to us with your date already written. A real person on Maui answers, usually within a couple of hours. Nothing to pay to hold it — we confirm the date is open before any money changes hands.
New dates are being added. Text us your sailing and we’ll check it.
Yes. Pride of America sails a seven-night loop from Honolulu and docks at Kahului every Sunday at 8am, staying overnight and sailing on Monday evening, with all-aboard around 5:30pm. Every week from November 2026 through 2027 follows that pattern.
Either works, so tell us which you prefer. Sunday has no clock at the end of the day because the ship stays the night, and it is the only day a Haleakalā sunset fits. Monday works too: we plan the day backwards from all-aboard.
On a Sunday, yes. The Hana and Haleakalā Sunset day runs ten to twelve hours and ends around 9pm, and your ship does not sail until Monday evening. The summit is 10,023 feet and often cold at sunset, so it is a long day; we will talk it through with you.
Most cruise passengers book shore excursions two to three months before they sail, and plenty plan further out. There is nothing to pay to hold a date: text us your Sunday and we confirm it is open before any money changes hands.
Yes, park and site fees are included. Waiʻānapanapa State Park, the black sand beach, works differently: its reservations open 30 days before your date and depend on availability. We try to get you in, and if it is full your guide builds the day around the road's other stops.
Send us the date and how many of you there are. We’ll tell you straight whether it’s open and what the day looks like for your group.
