Anywhere on Maui. Your guide meets you at your hotel lobby, resort entrance or vacation rental, whether you're in Wailea, Kīhei, Kāʻanapali, Lahaina, Kapalua, Pāʻia, Upcountry or Kahului, and brings you back to the same door at the end of the day.
The full day runs about ten hours. Your pickup time depends on where you're staying, since West Maui is farther from the Hāna Highway than Kahului or Pāʻia. We set it with you when you book, so the day starts early and unhurried.

On a self-drive day the driver spends ten hours watching hairpin turns and one-lane bridges instead of the scenery, and it's easy to miss the best stops or run short on daylight. With your own guide, everyone gets to look out the window, swim and enjoy the day, and the stops are chosen for that day's weather and your group.
It's a winding road, and we won't pretend otherwise. Our guides drive it several times a week and set the pace for the people in the vehicle, which makes an enormous difference. One guest's nine-year-old, who gets severe motion sickness, had none at all. We've welcomed toddlers, grandparents and guests with mobility needs, so tell us in advance and we'll build the day around your group.

Waiʻānapanapa State Park needs a timed reservation, and the state releases a limited number each day. We'll try for your date, but entry depends on availability, so we never promise it. If it isn't open to us, your guide has other beautiful stops ready.
Rain on the Hāna side is what keeps it so green, and it often makes the waterfalls bigger. Your guide adjusts the day around the weather. One couple's guide rebuilt their whole day around the rain and took them into a lava tube they'd never have found alone.
